Pathaan teaser is out and the King is back.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan unveiled the teaser for his next film Pathaan with a bang. The action-packed film is all set to celebrate 50 years of Yash Raj Films as well.

Sharing the teaser, Shah Rukh Khan wrote in his social media post: “Apni kursi ki peti brands lijiye (Fasten your seatbelts) Pathaan teaser out now! Celebrate Pathaan with YRF50 only at a big screen near you on 25th January 2023. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.”

Shah Rukh Khan released the trailer teaser on the occasion of his 57th birthday on Wednesday. This is his first film with Siddharth Anand, who previously made War with Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff. Shah Rukh’s last movie was Zero in 2018 with Aanand L Rai.

Pathaan marks SRK and Deepika Padukone’s fourth project together. Deepika  Padukone debuted in Bollywood opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the 2007 film Om Shanti Om and then they co-starred in Happy New Year and Chennai Express – all three movies did well at the box office. This is the first time that John Abraham and SRK will be seen sharing screen space.

Production details

Yash Raj Films, Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham officially announced Pathaan on 2 March 2022 on their social media accounts, revealing the release date to be 25 January 2023 with a first look teaser. However, Various cast and crew of the film including Salman Khan and Vishal Dadlani have unofficially announced the film on various occasions before.

Dadlani unofficially announced the film on his Twitter account. He wrote in the tweet, “No number from the past matters, no number in the future is too big. The whole world is waiting to watch Shahrukh. More importantly, we’re all working towards a kickass film with great songs. This film is YRF’s first Dolby Cinema release and the first Bollywood film to be shot fully with IMAX cameras. This will be the first YRF Spy Universe movie to feature two post-credits as they’re inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
