India will take on New Zealand in the final warm-up game

Today will be the last set of warm-up matches to be played before the Big Super 12 stage takes over. India will take on Pakistan in their first match at MCG against Pakistan and New Zealand will take on Australia in their first encounter at the T20 World Cup 2022.

Rohit Sharma-led side will look to maintain their winning start in the warm-up against New Zealand. The match will be played at The Gabba on October 19 Wednesday and will start at 1.30 pm IST.

The super 12 round begins on October 22 with the first match between Australia and New Zealand- the finalists of last year’s T20 World Cup. The ICC T20 World Cup 2022 final will be played on November 13.

Suryakumar Yadav is to be rested for today’s match

The news from the Indian camp is that they will rest SuryaKumar Yadav for the last warm game and his place can go to Deepak Hooda or Rishabh Pant

Meanwhile, New Zealand will look to bounce back after their big defeat against South Africa and will be fielding their best XI against India. The Black Caps were thrashed by South Africa in the 1st WARM-UP tie. They were bowled out for just 98.

Devon Conway and Jimmy Neesham didn’t play on Monday. Bug against India both Conway & Neesham will make comeback in NZ LINE-UP.
