Zazai 66*(37) Edwards 2-20 Howell 14*(11) de Lange 1-17
Team Abu Dhabi 6.5 overs 105-4
Stirling 57 (20) Howell 2-18 Salt 24 (12) Udana 1-10
Bangla Tigers elected to bat first after winning the toss but they started very poorly.
Cottrell and F. Edwards were brilliant in their opening spells.
Cottrell picked up 1 wicket while Edwards picked up 2 wickets.
Bangla Tigers lost their first 4 wickets in just the 4 over of the innings.
Hazratullah Zazai once again stood up with the bat and scored a brilliant fifty.
He was supported by Howells and both of them make sure that no more wickets will fall until the end of their innings.
Zazai smashed a brilliant knock of 66 runs off just 37 balls.
His innings included 5 fours and 4 sixes.
He made sure that his team will end up on a total of over 100 runs which was looking impossible at one stage.
He made a 73 run stand with Howell for the 5th wicket to put something on the board.
Bangla Tigers finished on 101-4 in their 10 overs.
Stirling settles it for Abu Dhabi
Chasing just 102 runs, Team Abu Dhabi openers looked comfortable and they smashed the ball all around the ground especially Paul Stirling was superb with the bat.
He scored 57 runs off just 20 balls including 5 fours and 5 sixes.
P. Salt also scored 24 runs but it was all about Stirling today.
The opening stand gave Team Abu Dhabi the start they would be hoping from them.
The first wicket fell on 81 runs in the 5th over, when Stirling was dismissed by Howell.
Then Team Abu Dhabi lost a couple of wickets in regular intervals in the next few overs.
These include the important wickets of Stirling, Salt, and the skipper Livingstone but still, they had a lot of batting to come and that’s why they chased the total down very easily.
But it was too late for the Bangla Tigers to make any sort of comeback in the game because they had a very low score on the board to defend.
Howell picked up 2 wickets while Udana took 1 wicket in his spell.
Team Abu Dhabi lost a bit of wickets in the last part of the game but they still won the match quite easily.
Finally, Abu Dhabi chased down the total in just 6.5 overs with still 7 wickets in hand.
