The curious case of Haider Ali

Haider Ali has been the talk of the town after hitting a new form slump in the PSL.

Quetta Gladiators will face Lahore Qalandars in Dubai, hoping to clinch the game with a big margin to keep their PSL playoff hopes alive.

If Sarfaraz Ahmed’s men lose the match, they will become the first team to exit the PSL 2021.

Probable best performer

Fakhar Zaman

Fakhar Zaman’s offseason hard work has paid dividends in the international arena as well as the PSL.

The left-handed, who has been criticized recently for his unorthodox batting technique, has shut his critics with sublime performances.

After hammering South Africa in the last series, the lefty is looking threatening in the league as well.

He is the third-highest scorer of the season with 243 runs.

He averages 43 and is likely to increase these figures against the low-spirited Quetta.

Match prediction

Lahore Qalandars are the probable winners of the clash.

Sohail Akhtar and company have been clicking in every department so far.

On the flip side, Sarfaraz Ahmed’s men have been juggernauts of the PSL ever since the league’s inception.

They have reached the finals on numerous occasions and even lifted the cup in 2019.

However, the dominant displays have been absent in 2021.
