Stranger Things season 5 does not feature in Netflix’s title for 2024

The team of the fifth instalment of the popular show ‘Stranger Things’ have announced their release date. Slated to be released by 2024 initially, the makers of the show have announced 2025 as the new stipulated release date of the show following the challenges faced by the makers to complete the show.

The fans have expressed their disappointment on the Netflix OTT series which has been getting postponed now and then due to various reasons. For a long time, there has been It will be the last installment of the show which has been loved by many. But the viewers will have to wait a bit longer for the release of the show.

The popular streaming platform announced its lineup for 2024 in Los Angeles with the event named ‘Next on Netflix’. The 5th and final instalment of the show was not featured in the list. Recently the streaming platform hinted at the show potentially getting a 2024 release. As it turned out, the fans were disappointed.

Netflix’s lineup for 2024

Netflix released the list of shows which are slated to be released in 2024. The 8th instalment of The Elite, the third instalment of Heartstopper, Vikings: Valhalla, and Sweet Tooth are some of the shows that would be released on Netflix by the end of the year. Some other shows will be released by March.

Season 2 of That ’90s Show, The Empress, and the docuseries Full Swing are set to be out by the 6th of March. ‘Squid Game 2’ and ‘Bridgerton Season 3’ will also be released later this year. There are some other shows which might come out later this year on Netflix. Their release dates are not announced yet.

“It’s the biggest it’s ever been in terms of scale, but it has been really fun because everyone’s back together in Hawkins: the boys and Eleven interacting more in line with how it was in season one. And, yes, there may be spin-offs, but the story of Eleven and Dustin and Lucas and Hopper, their stories are done here,” said the Co-creator of Stranger Things 5.
