The auction of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 saw some of the new records at the arena. Australian Cricket team’s stars Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc went expensive in the auction and set a new record. Likewise, many other players like Daryl Mitchell, Alzarri Joseph, Spencer Johnson and other overseas players bagged huge deals. Some Indian uncapped players who could perform different roles were in huge demand as well, which was unexpected.

After the auction, Rajasthan Royals has a squad of 22 players of which 8 are from outside India. They have a squad value of INR 99.80 crores. Lucknow Super Giants has a squad of 25 players of which 8 are from outside India. They have a squad value of INR 99.05 crores. CSK has a squad of 25 players of which 8 are from outside India. They have a squad value of INR 99.00 crores.

Mumbai Indians has a squad of 25 players of which 8 are from outside India. They have a squad value of INR 99.95 crores. KKR has a squad of 23 players of which 8 are from outside India. They have a squad value of INR 98.65 crores. RCB has a squad of 25 players of which 8 are from outside India. They have a squad value of INR 97.15 crores.

Focus on trading till the start of IPL 2024

The trade window is open till the second week of March 2024.
