‘So beautiful …. So elegant…..’ – KL Rahul joins ‘WOW’ trend as he comments on Athiya Shetty’s Instagram post

India wicketkeeper batter KL Rahul has joined the ‘WOW’ trend bandwagon on Instagram after his wife and Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty posted a few pictures of herself. Talking about the trend, it started after a woman showcased and sold suits. Aftermath, it entered Bollywood and has become a trend on social media. One actress Deepika Padukone created a playful reel in a saree, mimicking these words.

Meanwhile, coming to Athiya and Rahul, the former shared a few photos of herself on Instagram. Those were from a brand shoot. The India cricketer failed to help himself and posted a comment “So beautiful …. So elegant… just looking like a woaw!!”. This comment has gotten 32,200 likes and counting and 271 replies at the time of writing. A lot of fans have even mentioned that they opened the comment box only to read Rahul’s comment.

As far as cricket is concerned, Rahul started the ongoing ODI World Cup 2023 campaign with a 97 not out against Australia. Since then, he has gotten the opportunity only against New Zealand and England in which he scored 30-plus each. With the gloves, the Karnataka player has done well, having won the best fielder award twice in the tournament.

India will play next against Sri Lanka in Mumbai, the same venue where both teams played the 2011 World Cup final. After having won six games, the Men In Blue are assured of a semis spot. In the remaining three games before the knockouts, they would want to iron out their team issues, either with the bat or ball.
