The arrival of the Pakistan team in India was much-awaited among both Indian and Pakistani cricket fans. The men in green received a warm welcome and outstanding hospitality on their arrival in India.

Meanwhile, the star Pakistan all-rounder and vice-captain, Shadab Khan made it to the headlines of social media just a day after the team’s arrival in India. Shadab attended a show with the star Indian wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson, who is currently out of action from international cricket since the T20I series against Ireland.

The pictures of Shadab Khan and Sanju Samson also started making rounds just as soon as it was shared by a user on X (formerly Twitter). Notably, the arch-rivals, India and Pakistan will lock horns in the highly-anticipated group-stage clash of the ODI World Cup 2023 on Saturday, October 14. Both teams will play this match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

Pakistan to play their warm-up matches in Hyderabad ahead of main round

Apart from that, Babar Azam’s men will start their full-fledged preparations for the ODI World Cup 2023 with their warm-up matches, starting tomorrow on Friday, September 29. They will play against New Zealand in their first warm-up game at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

Recently, the Pakistan cricket team went through a lot of conundrums, confusion and drama in their team selection after they faced a humiliating elimination from the Asia Cup 2023. Pakistan lost to Sri Lanka by a close margin of 2 wickets in the last super-4 match of the tournament. Furthermore, the exclusion of young pacer Naseem Shah due to a shoulder injury also hurt them to a great extent.

However, the PCB selection committee replaced Naseem Shah with the senior pacer Hasan Ali in the ODI World Cup 2023 squad.
