Sanjay Leela Bhansali unlikely to reunite with this Bollywood superstar for his upcoming ‘Baiju Bawra’ movie

The Indian film industry has seen many legendary directors who have given multiple superhit and blockbuster movies to fans. Sanjay Leela Bhansali is one of the biggest Indian directors who is known for giving multiple blockbuster movies in Bollywood. He takes a good amount of time to complete his film. There is no doubt that every Bollywood stars want to do a film with him. Bhansali’s Ramleela, Bajirao Mastani, Padmavat and many more made many headlines when they were released.

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan also shares a close bond with Bhansali. Both worked with each other in 2002 when they came together for Devdas, the movie did brilliantly at the box office in India and overseas as well. However, fans are looking forward to seeing both of them working together once again. But according to Indian actor and journalist Kamal Rashid Khan’s claim, it doesn’t seem possible.

Bhansali’s last film as a director was Gangubai Kathiawadi, in which Alia Bhatt was seen playing the lead role. Despite Covid-19, the film grossed over 100 crores at the Indian box office. After that, the director is yet to decide on his next definite big screen project but there are rumours that Bhansali will soon bring the much talked about Baiju Bawra.

Bhansali to work with Ranveer once again

As per reports, Ranveer Singh and Alia will reportedly feature in the movie. But now KRK has made a shocking claim. KRK says Sanjay Leela Bhansali will see the box office performance of Rocky aur Rani ki Love Story before finalizing Ranveer for the film. He also claimed that Shah Rukh Khan had asked Bhansali to cast him in the film, but Bhansali refused.

“Master director Sanjay Leela Bhansali is trying to do the casting of his next film #BaijuBawra for the last 6 months but he is not able to finalise anyone. #SRK asked SLB to do a film with him but SLB doesn’t seem interested to cast SRK in this film. SLB might cast Hrithik or Aamir Khan.”
