Rimi Sen duped of 4.4 crores!
Bollywood actress Rimi Sen has become the latest victim of cheating.
Rimi, whose real name is Shubhamitra Sen, has reportedly been cheated of Rs 4.4 crores by a businessman in Mumbai.
Rimi Sen’s money was allegedly taken by this man, Ronak Jatin Vyas, who claimed to be investing it in a new firm.
Using his family’s business, Fomingo Beverages, Jatin managed to persuade her that he was engaged in investing.
Apparently, Jatin had promised 30-40 percent profit if she invested in his company that deals with LED lights..
In her complaint, Sen revealed that she met Jatin at a gym in 2019 where he came with the offer after they became friends.
Later, he started ignoring Sen’s phone calls.
When Sen began to call Jatin asking for the money, he stopped receiving her calls.
Rimi realised that she has been duped, she enquired about the same and learnt that he never started the company.
Based on this, Golmaal actress filed an FIR against the accused at Khar police station on March 29.
Rimi Sen has appeared in films like Baghban, Dhoom, Garam Masala, Kyon Ki and Phir Hera Pheri.
