Thank God starring Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra released today.

Synopsis: Ayaan is a self-centered, egotistical real estate agent with a bad luck streak who dies in a vehicle accident and enters heaven. There, he meets Chitragupt and must participate in the “Game of Life,” which will determine whether he returns to Earth or Hell based on his actions. Will he triumph in the game, rejoining his wife and daughter?

According to Times of India, Thank God is a simple family film with a lot of laughs and is perfect for the festival season as it also a teaches a thing or two about deeds and morals. Sidharth Malhotra’s Ayaan’s character is established quite early in the movie as a careless and short tempered man whose jealous of his cop wife Ruhi.( RakulPreet)

The director has made a social movie without being too dark or heavy. Ajay Devgn as Chitragupt or CG has played a good part but an actor like him deserves a more powerful role. The movie delivers with its comic timings and the modern twist on CG,YD (Yam Doot) and the apsaras has been done nicely but the CGI misses the mark at some points.

All in all, TOI gives Thank God 3 out of 5 stars. Definitely watchable.

As per the review of News18 India, this movie is your regular mainstream Bollywood movie which has cliched dialogues, predictable plot and a hint of drama laced with good comedy. Comedy is what carries this movie forward as the plot itself is wisdom and rationale less but manages to be a good family entertainer in this festival season.

Ajay Devgn has really delivered with his performance as the actor has always proved that comedy is his thing. After Shershaah, Sidharth Malhotra is still delivering his role as a quirky guy. RakulPreet Singh is decent and pleasant to look at the screen.

News18 India also gives Thank God 3 stars out of 5.

Looks like Thank God did good.
