Revealed: Julian Nagelsmann’s next club will be…

Julian Nagelsmann has been heavily linked with the Tottenham managerial position following the sacking of Antonio Conte on Sunday night.

The German has only recently lost his job himself, after he was replaced by former Blues boss Thomas Tuchel at Bayern Munich.

Nagelsmann is open to talks with Tottenham over replacing Antonio Conte, according to Sky Sports.

However, further reports suggest Daniel Levy may have to contend with competition from London rivals Chelsea if they wish to tempt the 35-year-old into the Spurs hot seat.

As per rumours, Nagelsmann is also on Chelsea’s shortlist if Todd Boehly chooses to end the Graham Potter project early and dismiss the current Blues manager this summer.

Nagelsmann currently leads Mauricio Pochettino and current Eintracht Frankfurt head coach Oliver Glasner, as the favourite to took over the Tottenham job.

However, if the Spurs project doesn’t appeal the former 1899 Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig head coach, Boehly could swoop in and tempt him with a move to west London instead.

However, Graham Potter still has the backing of Boehly and the Chelsea board, but that will not last forever if results don’t improve, particularly the Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid.

The Blues boss has been under huge amounts of pressure in recent months due to his side’s poor run of form, but the 2-1 Champions League aggregate victory over Borussia Dortmund gave him some respite.

During the period of uncertainty, Todd Boehly reportedly made contact with Mauricio Pochettino and was claimed to be an admirer of both Zinedine Zidane and Roberto De Zerbi.

Nagelsmann is one of the world’s most respected coaches.

He has maintained that entertaining fans was a No. 1 priority, saying: “Winning is what matters and winning is entertaining.

“I never want to change my offensive and attacking football because I love it and I love it when the fans have an emotional time in the stadium.”

“So I will not change this. But if there is a time when I cannot win like this then I will have to change.”
