Record-breaking victory in Bigg Boss OTT 2: Elvish Yadav secures trophy after garnering 28 crore votes in 15 minutes

‘Bigg Boss OTT 2’ had its first wild card entry winner on Monday, August 14 when YouTuber Elvish Yadav triumphed over the competition thanks to a landslide of votes. He also received Rs. 25 lacs in cash and a shiny trophy. In the finale, he triumphed over Abhishek Malhan, alias Fukra Insaan. After the show’s last 15 minutes of voting, a video of Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav discussing how many votes he received online has gone viral.

Elvish Yadav boasts in a video that is going viral online about obtaining 28 million votes in just 15 minutes. During the Bigg Boss OTT 2 grand finale, the voting lines for the finalists were open for 15 minutes. In traditional black ethnic clothing, Yadav is seen in his hotel room with his friends and media paps. He brags that in just 15 minutes, he collected 280 million votes.

Elvish Yadav receives mixed reactions from his fans

Netizens did not wait to post their views on the video. Soon, the comment section was filled with trolls and supporters for the new Bigg Boss winner. A troller commented, “There is a limit to speaking so many lies, and comments like 7 million ki toh watching this aur isse 280 million vote aa gaye, itna bhi mat fenko.” Another troller said, “There were 70 lakh people watching the finale at that time and he is saying he got 28 crore votes, don’t make such lies”

However, his supporters have defended him, claiming they also cast several ballots within those fifteen minutes because a JioCinema user was only allowed to submit 99 votes through one account. One of his supporters wrote, “Maine khud 10 phone se 700 ke aaspaas vote kiye honge (I myself would have voted 700 times from 10 phones)”.

 After Pooja, Manisha, and Bebika were eliminated from the Grand Finale, voting lines were opened for the audience to vote for the final time to decide between the two well-known YouTubers, Elvish and Abhishek. The actor playing Sultan declared the former the winner because it had clearly garnered more votes.
