Rashami Desai expresses disappointment over Ranveer Singh’s collaboration with Jonny Sins for an ad

Rashami Desai has reacted to Ranveer Singh’s collaboration with Johnny Sins for a TV ad. As soon as the ad came out, the netizens could not believe their eyes. Many people thought it to be a crazy idea to involve Sins in an ad in India. It seemed like the ad was liked by the people. Many of the users burst out laughing on social media. 

The ad had the attention of many Bollywood celebrities like Arjun Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra. The theme of the ad is to create awareness among men regarding sexual health. To involve Sins in promoting the product seems to be a masterstroke from the marketing team. The ad is created in such a way that the humour is taken the right way by the audience. 

The ad is created with elements like those in Indian TV dramas. While many appreciated the ad as a good one, others were not too happy about it. Rashami Desai is one of them, who took to express her disappointment regarding the ad on social media. The fact that the ad revolves around a storyline similar to those in the TV dramas did not go well with Rashami.

The actress of many serials like ‘Dil se dil tak’, ‘Uttaran’, and others, claimed it to be a humiliation to all the artists from the small screen shows. Taking to Instagram, Desai wrote a story and mentioned that different kinds of people wish to watch the content on small screens. Rashami was in the Bigg Boss 13 house which saw Siddharth Shukla as the winner. 

While the likes of Nakuul Mehta and Karan Kundra liked the ad, Desai was highly critical of it. “And nothing wrong in showing some reality but this is a reality check for the TV industry coz I feel it’s a slap. Maybe I’m overreacting but we show culture and love to our audience. And I’m hurt coz I have a respectful journey in the TV industry. Hope you will understand the emotion,” wrote Rashami.
