Ranveer’s nude lands him in legal mess

A few days ago, Ranveer Singh had posted his nude photographs on his social media account.

As expected, it created a big sensation.

It evoked mixed reactions on social media where many of his fans and colleagues including Swara Bhasker, Arjun Kapoor, Alia Bhatt supported him.

At the same time, many netizens including actress Mimi Chakraborty trolled him.

However, the matter has now escalated as a police complaint has been filed against him by a NGO.

According to reports, the complainant is seeking the registration of a First Information Report (FIR) against him.

The complaint application was submitted at the Chembur police station by an office-bearer of the NGO, based in the east Mumbai suburb.

The complainant stated the actor has hurt the sentiments of women and insulted their modesty through his photographs.

The statement said, “We always support that there should be freedom of speech and expression but that doesn’t mean that you should roam nude in the society.”

“The actors in India are called Nayak and the people of India follow them, in some part of India and people even worship them as God.”

“By doing such acts the actors like Ranveer Singh try to get cheap publicity at the cost of sentiments of the people.”
