Rahul Dravid reveals about team combination against Netherlands

India will be playing its last league stage match against the Netherlands in the ODI World Cup 2023. In M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru, India will be taking on the Dutch side on the 12th of November, which marks the end of the league stage. Indian team have been on a roll in the tournament. In 8 matches in the tournament, India is yet to lose one. In all their matches, India has outclassed its opponents.

India started their campaign on a high note by beating Australia in Chennai. Since then, India have been on a winning streak with 8 wins in a row. The way India have dominated its opponents has been terrific. India has absolutely dominated the points table by having a sensational bowling attack and some batters who have stepped up whenever required.

India will be hoping to end their league stage on a high. After a rest of nearly one week after their game against South Africa, Indian players will be rejuvenated. Ahead of the match, Rahul Dravid attended the press conference. The Indian coach was asked about the potential changes that could be seen in the side. Usually, teams rest players after qualifying for the knockout stage.

Australia and South Africa rested some of its players in their last match of the tournament. Speaking about the team combination in their last match, the Indian coach confirmed that they would not be resting any player for the match between India and Netherlands. Dravid said that the players got enough rest of 6 days following their game against South Africa in Kolkata.

Dravid said that the players are in a good shape to play their match against Netherlands. “We’ve had six days off from the last game. So, we’re pretty well rested and the guys are in good shape. That’s all I’ll say without giving away the level. So, we’ve had six days off, we’ve got one game before the semi-final. Boys are rested. So that’s all I’ll say,” said Dravid. India is set to play the semifinal in Mumbai against New Zealand.
