PSL: Hafeez, Afridi power Lahore Qalandars to maiden title 
The experienced Hafeez delivered with both bat and ball in the all-important final match.
Multan Sultans were outstanding throughout the tournament and there was only one team who was able to defeat them – Lahore Qalandars who downed the Sultans twice in this tournament.

Lahore had a very horrible start to their innings after electing to bat first.
The top scorer of the tournament Fakhar Zaman was caught at the boundary line on just 3 runs in the 3rd over.
David Willey dismissed Zeeshan Ashraf on just 7 runs.
The fifty scorer from the last game Abdullah Shafique failed to perform today as he was stumped by Rizwan in the 5th over.
Lahore was 3 down on 25 runs within the powerplay.
An all-round show from the Professor Hafeez
After losing some early wickets, Hafeez anchored the innings by building partnerships with Rauf and Brook.
Hafeez was looking in great touch today as he scored runs at a very quick pace.
Kamran Ghulam added only 15 runs in his 54 runs partnership with the Professor.
The right-handed batter thrashed a magnificent knock of 69 runs from 46 deliveries.
Hafeez also picked up 2 crucial wickets with the ball and he was given the Player of the Final match award for his all-round performance.
Lahore’s unbelievable hitting in the death overs
Lahore was brilliant in the death overs as they smashed 87 runs from the last 6 overs.
Harry Brook played a superb knock in the death overs today.
He first contributed through his partnership with Hafeez.
Later, Brook shifted gears in the final overs with Wiese.
He remained not out on 42 runs including 2 fours and 3 sixes.
Weise thrashed 28 runs from just 8 balls including 1 four 3 sixes. As a result, Lahore finished their innings on 180 runs.
Rizwan and Masood were once again looking good for a good partnership but Hafeez bowled out Rizwan in the 4thover to boost their chances.
The third highest run-scorer of the tournament also failed to deliver at the big stage as he got run-out on 19 runs.
Hafeez grabbed his second wicket in the 7th over as the young Azmat got caught out on 6 runs.
Multan Sultans continued to lose wickets at regular intervals that added more pressure on Multan batters as the required Rate kept increasing with every single over.
Multan was 5 down on 63 runs when Khushdil and Tim David started to accelerate the innings.
They added a fast 51 run partnership but it was too late for them as Lahore Qalandars bagged their maiden PSL title.
Multan Sultans were bowled out on just 138 runs and Shaheen was the star with the ball as he became the highest wicket-taker of the season with his 3-wicket haul today.
