PSL: Fantastic death bowling helps Lahore Qalandars win 
Islamabad United required just 39 runs from the last 5 overs with 8 wickets in hand but they lost it due to some exceptional death bowling from the Lahore bowlers.
The 20-year-old emerging player, Zaman Khan defended 12 runs from the last over against the big hitters like Asif Ali and Azam Khan.

Lahore Qalandars started really well as their openers scored 73 runs from the powerplay.
Both Abdullah Shafique and Fakhar Zaman played delightful shots in the first 6 overs.
Shafique smashed a beautiful six on the first ball of the 8th over but on the very next ball, he was deceived by Shadab Khan and was bowled out after playing an excellent knock of 44 runs off just 24 balls.
The in-form Fakhar Zaman also played another good innings as he scored 38 runs off just 27 balls.
Qalandars horrible Collapse in the middle
After the loss of 1st wicket, Lahore collapsed badly in the middle overs against the spinners of Islamabad United.
Lahore lost 5 wickets for just 15 runs due to Shadab’s brilliant spell taking 4 wickets for just 20 runs from his 4 overs.
The Qalandars crumbled from 83-0 to 97-5 in the middle overs and from a fiery start, they had to shift into a rebuilding phase.
Herry Brooks played an important knock to help his side in putting a fighting total on the board with the help of small cameos from David Weise (20 off 14) and Rashid Khan (15* off 8).
Herry Brooks got caught out on the first ball of the last over after scoring 37 runs off 26 deliveries.
Lahore Qalandars finished their innings on 174-9 as Waqas Maqsood picked up 3 wickets from the last over.
In reply, Islamabad United didn’t have a bright start to their innings as they lost both their in-form openers cheaply.
Shaheen dismissed Hales (11 off 8) in the 3rd over while Haris Rauf send Stirling (14 off 10) back into the Pavilion in the 5th over to put Islamabad under pressure on 37-2.
After losing the openers early, Colin Munro and Shadab Khan had a magnificent partnership to put Islamabad in an easy position to win the match.
They shared a superb 100 runs stand for the 3rd wicket as both of them scored superb half-centuries.
Munro has smashed back to back half-centuries after returning to the playing 11 for his side.

Shadab Khan has also been brilliant for his side nothing with the bat and ball.
Shadab Khan not only scored a brilliant half-century but also picked up 4 wickets for his side.
He is now the leading wicket-taker of this season and has also scored two half-centuries so far in this tournament.
Shadab scored 52 runs off 32 deliveries and after his departure, Islamabad United lost their way and lost the match from nowhere.
The unbelievable comeback from Lahore
39 runs were needed from the last 5 overs but Rashid Khan changed the momentum by dismissing Shadab Khan in the 16th over.
The match became interesting after Colin Munro’s wicket in the next over.
Shaheen bowled an economical 18th over to finish his spell.
Asif Ali smashed a six in the 19th over but Haris Rauf still did well to restrict Asif Ali and Azam Khan and conceded only 9 runs despite that six.

Zaman Khan, the 20-year-old emerging cricketer was given the ball to defend those 12 runs and he amazed everyone by bowling an unbelievable last over conceding only 3 runs and also picking up the big wicket of Asif Ali to win the game for his side.
