Pogba, who is a free agent after his deal with Man United expired, has reportedly agreed to sign a four-year contract with the Serie A giants.

It will be Pogba’s second spell at Juventus, having won four consecutive Serie A titles with the club between 2012 and 2016.

He will be part of the team when Juventus travel to the United States for their pre-season.

Juventus will play Barcelona on July 27 and Real Madrid on July 30.

Even Manchester City had made a bid to sign Pogba but it came to nothing.

This move completes a full circle for Pogba.

The Frenchman had left Manchester United in 2012 on a free transfer to Juventus, where he established his reputation as one of Europe’s leading mid-fielders.

Next, he re-joined Manchester United from the Italian club back in 2016 for a then-world-record fee of 89 million pounds.

Pogba made 232 appearances for the Red Devils in all competitions.

He scored 39 goals and assisted 51 times during his stint at the club.

Despite this, he never became a fan favourite and earned the ire of football pundits who questioned his commitment to the club.

What went wrong at United

Pogba joined Manchester United in 2016 from Juventus.
In his first year, he won the EFL Cup and Europa League which turned out to be his only silverware at the club.
Later, his relationship with manager Mourinho deteriorated over differences in strategy.
This led to him losing his vice-captaincy in 2018.
Things went from bad to worse due to injuries and poor form and he lost his place in the starting 11.
“It was a low-key end to a United career that brought so many individual high moments,” United said when announcing Pogba was to leave the club in June.
“For a boy that joined the academy at 16 to make over 200 United appearances and lift the Youth Cup, along with two major pieces of silverware, is something that should be applauded and celebrated.”
Pogba said on Twitter, “I feel privileged to have played for this club, many beautiful moments and memories but most importantly an unconditional support from the fans. Thank you Man Utd.”

Dembele still undecided

In other transfer news, Ousmane Dembele is still unsure about his future.
He became a free agent this summer when his contract expired at Barcelona.
Dembele, a World Cup winner, is wanted by Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain, while Barcelona have made several offers in an attempt to retain him.
Dembele will make his final decision when he returns from holiday.
