I was trying to build a partnership and play long and deep.” – Babar Azam

Speaking of the video, it seemed that Ramiz was heaping praises on Babar before the start of his innings. But, the words he chose to use, those left fans surprised. On the air, he said: “Fifty in security, class, and quality, calmness. He is your guy in such a situation, in the back deep in the innings. I just absolutely love him – wanna marry him”. Meanwhile, with this century, Babar also became the second batter after Chris Gayle (22 centuries) to score 10 or more T-20 centuries. It was the 10th T20 century for the skipper of the Men in Green.

He bagged the Player of the Match award and during the post-match presentation, he said: “We started off well, Later we tried to manage the run rate. I thought 190 to 200 was a good score. Credit to the bowlers, they came back after the 12th over. I was trying to build a partnership and play long and deep. Today, it was a much better wicket.” Babar has scored 211 runs so far in four matches of his maiden LPL season, including one fifty and one century.
