In the third game of the ongoing SA20 2024, Paarl Royals and Pretoria Capitals locked horns at Boland Park, Paarl. Both teams were playing their first game of the tournament. The last time they played each other at this venue was in the semifinal of the first season last year. In that game, the Royals decided to bowl first and paid the price for this with a loss.
Meanwhile, in this game, the visitors won the toss and elected to bowl first. The home team had a great start with England internationals Jason Roy and Jos Buttler adding 42 runs in 4.5 overs. After the wicket of the former, the team was reduced to 56/3. At this stage, the likes of David Miller and Mitchell Van Burren put together 61 runs for the fourth wicket.

Royals end up with 160 which is always a tricky score in this venue. Out come of this match will rely more on total of 8 overs spin from fortuin and Shamsi. #SA20
