Mohammad Rizwan’s funny picture leaves netizens comparing him to Bobby Deol
Pakistani wicket-keeper and batter Mohammad Rizwan grabbed the headlines on the 2nd day of the Perth Test. The 31-year-old could be seen with a soda cup on top of his head during Pakistan’s batting.
This caught the fancy of many fans who compared it to Bobby Deol’s entry scene in the movie ‘Animal’. The veteran Bollywood star could be seen dancing with a glass on his head during a party which has been a cult favorite now.
Mohammad Rizwan was surprisingly dropped for the first test in Perth. Sarfaraz Ahmed was preferred in the playing XI which has seen Australia dominate for most of the day. fans aren’t happy with the move as Mohammad Rizwan was the most in-form batter in the team.

It seems that Mohammad Rizwan has joined the ‘Animal Trend’ which is going on social media. Bobby Deol was seen dancing with a glass filled with adult beverages during his introduction in the movie.

During Pakistan’s first innings, the cameras caught Mohammad Rizwan sitting with a cup on his head. One fan who captured the moment wrote “I think Rizwan is copying the wrong Bobby here”. Babar Azam is also nicknamed Bobby by his teammates and fans.
Australia were bowled out for 487 in their first innings thanks to Aamir Jamal picking 6/111 on his Test Debut. Alex Carey and Mitchell Marsh began the day in fine style as the pair added 90 runs for the 6th wicket. The Australian wicket-keeper was bowled for 34 to give Pakistan their 1st wicket of the day.
Mitchell Marsh continued to pulverize the Pakistani bowlers and went into lunch looking to score yet another Test century. The 32-year-old though was bowled through the gate by Aamir Jamal for 90 off 107 balls with 15 fours and a six. The entire Australia lower-order fell to Jamal who bowled 20.2 overs for his 6-wicket haul.
Abdullah Shafique and Imam Ul Haq began well and added 74 for the first wicket in 36.2 overs of watchful batting. Nathan Lyon got the first wicket when Shafique edged a ball to leg-slip fielder David Warner for 42.
Skipper Shan Masood came out with positive intent to score 30 runs from 43 balls. Mitchell Starc then had the Pakistani skipper edging behind Alex Carey as the end of the day approached. At stumps Imam Ul Haq was batting on 38 with Khurram Shahzad on 7. The men in green still trail by 355 runs with three days left in the game.
