Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were recently spotted in Alibaug. Reportedly, they were visiting an 8-acre big plot of land where they are all set to begin construction of their new house. As per reports, the celebrity couple bought the plot in two parcels – 2.54 acres and 4.91 acres which cost them around 19.24 crores They also had to pay 1.15 crores in stamp duty to seal the deal. Notably, Alibaug is gaining popularity for hosting several celebrities including Bollywood stars.

Recently, a popular Instagram scheduling tool called Hopper HQ reported that Virat Kohli’s earning per sponsored post on the platform is around 11.45 crores INR. However, the star batter denied the reports. “While I am grateful and indebted to all that I’ve received in life, the news that has been making rounds about my social media earnings is not true,” he clarified on Twitter. However, Kohli’s latest financial undertaking in the form of his new house in Alibaug suggests that Kohli is actually earning millions whether or not Hopper HQ’s numbers are on point.

Virat Kohli scored a century on his 500th international game

Virat Kohli looked in splendid form in the recently concluded tour of the West Indies. He played in both Tests, scoring 76 and 121, respectively. Moreover, the second Test of the series also became Kohli’s 500th international game and he scored a hundred to make it memorable. However, he did not get a chance to bat in the first ODI and was dropped in the two subsequent games. He was seen fielding as a substitute at times and serving drinks between the overs. He was kept out of the T20I series and hence, flew back home in a special private flight arranged by the Global Air Charter services.

Virat Kohli will next take the pitch in the coveted Asia Cup ODI 2023. India open their campaign against Pakistan on September 2 in Kandy, Sri Lanka. Although the tournament is co-hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka, all of India’s matches including the knockouts will be played in Sri Lanka.
