Reports are suggesting that Kylian Mbappe is looking for an exit from PSG in the winter transfer.

According to sources, the relationship between France’s Kylian Mbappe and his club Paris-Saint Germain (PSG) has become so unpleasant that the footballer wants to leave the organisation. In May, Mbappe agreed to a three-year contract deal to stay with Ligue 1’s powerhouse Paris-Saint Germain. Mbappe wants to cancel the contract and leave the club in January, according to a story in Marca that cites sources acquainted with the proceedings.

The report went on to say that, “the French striker would like to sign for Real Madrid, but the French club would only open the doors for him to leave for Liverpool.”

Last month, Kylian Mbappe’s allegations that he has greater flexibility playing for France were accepted by Paris Saint-Germain coach Christophe Galtier, who conceded the star forward’s club job is “more restricted.” After scoring in a 2-0 victory against Austria in the UEFA Nations League to help France avoid being demoted from the top division, Mbappe attracted attention with his comments.

The 23-year-old said that for France, where he played alongside Olivier Giroud in Karim Benzema’s absence he has “to do different things” than for PSG.

“His analysis is right. He’s not in the same set-up with us as he is in the national team, he’s certainly much more restricted up front with us, given the type of players we have, but I don’t think he has less freedom.” Galtier told reporters in September.

Galtier claimed that because PSG didn’t sign a traditional center-forward in the summer, Mbappe had evolved into more of an attack’s focal point, bringing in Lionel Messi and Neymar.

“We were convinced we needed a fourth player with a different profile, to have different solutions and options. This player never arrived, it’s a shame but that’s how it is. Mbappe has this type of player in the France team with Olivier Giroud. We don’t have the same but we have other profiles.” stated Galtier, whose unbeaten team leads Ligue 1 by two points over Marseille.
