Former India skipper MS Dhoni seems to have gone back to his younger days when he sported long hair. From his first-class days to winning the T20 World Cup 2007, he sported the long hair that was famous among the fans. Not to forget, the late Pakistan’s military dictator, Pervez Musharaf urged him not to cut them off during India’s tour of Pakistan 2006.

Meanwhile, after India won the T20 World Cup 2007, beating Pakistan by five runs, Dhoni shortened his hair. After this, he tried a lot of hairstyles but never let them grow like before. However, this time around, it seems that the Ranchi-born has managed to grow back his hair. Thanks to the help from his hairstylist Aalim Hakim, Dhoni has been able to style his hair and trim his beard.

The harder thing would be to work me for the 2024 IPL: MS Dhoni

Meanwhile, during the IPL 2023, the Chennai Super Kings skipper played with a knee problem. During the tournament, the former India skipper was rumored to be retiring from the game. However, after his team, CSK won the tournament, commentator, Harsha Bhogle asked him about his retirement from the game.

In reply, Dhoni said that he would decide the next few months about his IPL future.

“Looking for an answer? (He asks Harsha Bhogle after the latter asks him about his legacy) This is the best time to announce my retirement. But the amount of love I have received all over. The easy thing would be to walk away from here, but the harder thing would be working hard for 9 months and try to play another IPL. It would be a gift from me, won’t be easy on the body. You do get emotional, the first game at CSK everyone was chanting my name. My eyes were full of water, I needed to take some time off in the dugout. I realised I need to enjoy this,” MS Dhoni said.
