KL Rahul’s adorable reaction after Athiya Shetty dazzles as showstopper during fashion event

Indian Cricket Team’s veteran batter KL Rahul has been suffering from an injury that he sustained in the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. He could not even take part in the World Test Championship (WTC) final 2023 as he was not fully recovered.

Meanwhile, Rahul recently shared an Instagram story in which he appreciated and cheered his wife Athiya Shetty who walked as a showstopper for designer Anamika Khanna at the India Couture Week (ICW) 2023 on Sunday, July 30. Rahul could not attend the event as he is busy working to get fully recovered before the Asia Cup 2023.

But he took to Instagram and supported his wife by sharing a clip from her ramp walk at the event. He also reacted to Athiya’s beautiful look and wrote, “My Stunning Wife”, with a heart emoticon. Athiya reshared the story with the caption, “My whole heart”, with three heart emoticon.

KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty’s journey in spotlight

Athiya was wearing a long, cream dress with embroidery on the sleeves and was heavily jewellery-accented, including a necklace made of emeralds. She opted for sophisticated makeup, including black lipstick, and a neat bun for her hair. Despite the fact that she has not made many films recently, she has managed to stay in the news because of her impeccable sense of fashion.

She made her acting debut in 2015 alongside Sooraj Pancholi in the movie named Hero and later acted in Mubarakan. Her latest release was Motichoor Chaknachoor in which she acted alongside one of the most talented actors in the Indian film industry Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The movie did not do much business at the box office.

After several years of dating each other, Athiya and Rahul tied the knot earlier this year on January 23 at Suniel Shetty’s farmhouse in Khandala, Mumbai. Talking about Athiya’s work front, there is no news about Athiya’s upcoming projects, on the other hand, Rahul has already started practising and taking net sessions as he is hoping to get fully fit ahead of the upcoming Asia Cup.
