‘King will rule Indian cinema’ Fans hail Allu Arjun as he drops the release date of Pushpa 2!

Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule movie is widely anticipated by moviegoers. On Monday night via a social media platform, the release date for the next Telugu movie was officially announced. The widely awaited follow-up will be released on August 15, 2024.

The reveal was made on X by Mythri Moviemakers, the company developing Pushpa 2: The Rule. They tweeted, “Keep in mind this date. On August 15, 2024, Pushpa 2: The Rule will be officially released around the world. Pushpa Raj is returning to control the box office.” On the new poster, Allu Arjun is not seen, but his hand can be seen sporting bracelets and rings. His hand has blood streaks on it as well. Pushpa 1: The Rise, a massive movie in India in 2021, elevated Allu Arjun to the status of national celebrity. He even took home the National Film Award for Best Actor last month.

Allu Arjun locks on a release date

Devi Sri Prasad, the composer who also won the National Award for Pusha: The Rise’s outstanding music direction (songs), will also work on the sequel. On his 41st birthday earlier this year, Arjun debuted the first image from the upcoming movie. Now, as the actor dropped the new poster, fans were quick to rush into the comment section to hail the film. The poster has received enormous love from the netizens. Check out the Tweets below.

The movie also features Rashmika Mandanna reprising her role as Srivalli and Faasil reprising his role as Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. It was produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar of Mythri Movie Makers in collaboration with Sukumar Writings. The cast features actors Dhanunjay, Rao Ramesh, Sunil, Anasuya Bharadwaj, and Ajay Ghosh.

Actor Allu Arjun, a recipient of a National Award, is now shooting Pushpa 2: The Rule, the follow-up to the successful Pushpa: The Rise. This much-anticipated film, directed by renowned filmmaker Sukumar, has made news for a long-awaited update.

The producers said on social media that the film will be released in theatres globally in majority of the Indian languages on August 15, 2024. A striking poster has also been made public to make the announcement.
