Khatron Ke Khiladi 13: Rapper Dino James wins INR 20 Lakhs, check out runner-ups, top 5 contestants

Rohit Shetty’s adventurous reality show has finally concluded as the 13th season of Khatron Ke Khiladi crowned its winner on Saturday, October 14. The final showdown featured the top 3 contestants battling it out for the coveted champion’s title. Popular Indian rapper Dino James emerged victorious, defeating his competitors and claiming the top spot in this season. 

Arjit Taneja secured the second position as the first runner-up. But the champion not only earned a cash prize of Rs 20 lakhs but also received the winner’s trophy and a Maruti Suzuki Swift Car. Dino talked about winning the show and also revealed who he wanted to see as the winner if he didn’t win the show.

“If not me, I would have loved to see Shiv Thakare, Arjit Taneja lifting the trophy. Others also did well like Nyyrra, Aishwarya or Archana Gautam; they all performed great on the show. But as I am close to Shiv Thakare and Arjit I would have felt really nice.” Dino was quoted as saying by Hindustan Times.

The three contestants who reached the final round were Aishwarya Sharma, Dino, and Arijit. The initial challenge was tackled by Arijit Taneja, and he managed to finish it successfully. Aishwarya Sharma was up next for her stunt, but unfortunately, she couldn’t complete it. The third finalist, Dino, took on the task and succeeded in completing it. 

In the ultimate challenge, the last phase involved detonating dynamite, and just before the explosion, the contestant had to pull out and Dino won it. Arjit Taneja and Aishwarya Sharma were declared the first and second runner-up, respectively.  Other contestants in the top five were Shiv Thakare, Aishwarya and Rashmeet Kaur.

“I was the most scared of the shock stunts. There’s no alternative to shock stunts and it doesn’t have any remedy, trick or solution. My body was not able to take the shock stunts and I was the most scared of the shock stunts.The show is such that you can never go prepared for it. The stunts on the show are designed in such a way that you would never be able to perform them with ease or win every time.” Dino said.
