Katrina Kaif Visits Shirdi Saibaba Temple with Mother-in-Law
Katrina Kaif recently shared a spiritual moment with her mother-in-law, Veena Kaushal, as they visited the revered Sai Baba temple in Shirdi Saibaba. The actress, who is married to actor Vicky Kaushal, was seen offering prayers and seeking blessings at the temple, donning a simple yet elegant ivory kurta paired with a matching dupatta and flared palazzo. To show respect, she covered her head with the dupatta while praying. Veena Kaushal, her mother-in-law, wore a simple salwar-suit for the occasion.
Photos and videos from the outing surfaced on social media, including posts from the Shirdi Saibaba Sansthan Trust Shirdi’s official Instagram handle, which shared moments of the two women praying together. As a token of respect, the temple authorities also felicitated Katrina for her visit.
After the spiritual outing, the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law duo were seen returning to Mumbai. At the airport, Katrina was spotted affectionately hugging and kissing Veena on the forehead, displaying a warm and loving bond between the two.
Katrina’s visit to Shirdi comes shortly after she celebrated her third wedding anniversary with Vicky Kaushal. The couple marked the special occasion with a romantic trip to Rajasthan, where they enjoyed a safari ride and spent time outdoors. Katrina and Vicky tied the knot in a private ceremony on December 9, 2021.
As for Katrina’s professional life, she made her Bollywood debut in 2003 with the film Boom alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, and Padma Lakshmi. She is widely known for starring in popular films like Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?, Ek Tha Tiger, and Namastey London. Recently, she was seen in Merry Christmas, directed by Sriram Raghavan, alongside Vijay Sethupathi. In 2023, she also appeared in Tiger 3 opposite Salman Khan. Although she has not announced any new projects as of now, Katrina was expected to star in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa with Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra, but the timeline for this project remains uncertain.
