Kangana Ranaut faces embarrassing moment at Lav Kush Ramleela as she fails to shoot arrow at Ravan Effigy, gets trolled
Bollywood’s renowned actress Kangana Ranaut faced an embarrassing moment during the Lav Kush Ramleela event. The annual Ramleela performance is known for its grandeur and tradition, in which popular celebrities get invited to shoot an arrow at the Ravan effigy. This year, it was Kangana Ranaut, who got the invitation and she was also the first ever woman to perform Ravan Dahan at the famous Luv Kush Ramleela in New Delhi.
The embarrassing incident occurred during the climax of the performance when it was time to symbolically shoot an arrow at the effigy of the demon king Ravan. Traditionally, Lord Ram aims and shoot the arrow with precision, effectively “killing” Ravan as part of the narrative.
However, as Kangana attempted to shoot the arrow, she missed her mark, leading to a moment of awkward silence in the crowd. In the video, it can be seen that Kangana is holding a bow in her hand while people around her are helping her to shoot. The actress took 3 attempts but failed in all attempts. However, in the final attempt, she chanted ‘Jai Shree Ram’ and shot the arrow with the help of one of the members of the Luv Kush Ramleela committee.

Kangana got brutally trolled on social media
However, the incident quickly went viral, and Kangana found herself at the receiving end of online trolling and memes. Many users poked fun at the actress, some attributing the miss to her outspoken and controversial nature, while others saw it as a harmless mishap that can happen to anyone.
A user on user media wrote, “Iss ghatiya aurat se dahan kyu karwaya”. While another wrote, “Teer chalana seekh pehle”. Meanwhile, a user went below the belt and commented, “Ye toh Shree Ram ki beijjati ki hai isne.” However, in the world of entertainment, where perfection is often expected, such unexpected moments can humanize even the most iconic figures. But surely, the incident will likely serve as a memorable chapter in the Luv Kush Ramleela’s history and in Kangana’s own journey as an artist.
