New Zealand’s young sensation Rachin Ravindra delivered an outstanding batting performance by smashing a magnificent century in the 27th match of the ODI World Cup 2023 in Dharamsala on Saturday. The young Kiwi all-rounder showcased his incredible talent and composure under pressure as he powered his way to a three-figure score.

Ravindra’s century, laced with elegant strokes and brilliant shot selection, not only anchored New Zealand‘s innings but also garnered a chorus of applause from the spectators. He completed his century in just 77 deliveries and achieved the milestone by smashing a magnificent six.

He played an amazing knock of 116 runs off just 89 balls which included 9 fours and 5 sixes. Fans from all corners of the cricketing globe expressed their admiration for Ravindra’s remarkable performance. He became the only player to smash 2 World Cup centuries at the age of just 23 years old. Earlier, it was former legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar who smashed 2 World Cup centuries at the age of just 23 years. However, there are lots of matches still remaining for New Zealand in the tournament and it won’t be wrong to say that the left-hander can break Tendulkar’s record.

Talking about the match, New Zealand asked Australia to put runs on the scoreboard after which the Kangaroos put up a monumental total of 388 runs. Thanks to Travis Head and David Warner’s destructive 175-run stand for the first wicket.
