Indian cricket stalwarts, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have always been the talking points across media. When the latter was the skipper, his captaincy used to be under the microscope. The same has been happening since Sharma has taken over the reins. Apart from them, their batting quality has always been discussed whether they are captaining, or even resting from the series.

Meanwhile, as reported by TweetBlinderX, Kohli has been ranked number four. On the other hand, Sharma has been ranked nine in the most talked about Twitter accounts. The former India skipper is only behind Indian PM Narendra Modi, ISRO (Thanks to Chandrayaan 3’s successful landing), and Shah Rukh Khan (as his new film Jawan is coming up and the trailer has been dropped recently).

Talking about others, YouTuber Elvish Yadav (who recently won Bigg Boss OTT season 2) ranked fifth. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath and YouTuber Fukra Insaan are ranked sixth and seventh respectively. Ahead of Rohit, India and Tamil actor, Vijay is ranked eighth. After Rohit, India and Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, who became an Indian citizen officially last month, ranked 10th.

Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma failed with the bat against Pakistan

The top-order duo failed with the bat in the rain-impacted game against Pakistan last weekend. Both were removed by Shaheen Shah Afridi with the new ball. However, despite losing the top-order and four wickets for 66 runs, the Indian middle-order showed a great fightback against a quality bowling attack.

The likes of Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya put together 138 runs for the fifth wicket. Both scored 80-odd runs and looked like getting close to 300 or more. However, the team lost a few more wickets in the last few wickets than their liking and were bowled out for 266 with Jasprit Bumrah (16) coming to the party. India will play Nepal in Pallekele and the batters will once again look to get runs under their belt before the Super Four round.
