Mohammad Rizwan has come under the eye of the storm after his post-match comments went viral. The 31-year-old Pakistan wicketkeeper and batter top-scored with 90 not out during the 4th game on Friday.

That effort wasn’t enough as New Zealand coasted home to an easy seven-wicket win with 11 balls to spare. Shaheen Shah Afridi suffered his fourth loss in a row after taking over as the skipper of the Pakistani T20I side.

Glenn Phillips scored 70 not out while Daryl Mitchell was unbeaten on 72 after the Kiwis were placed at 20/3. Pakistan skipper Shaheen Afridi rocked the hosts with three early wickets before Mitchell and Phillips saw their team home.

Mohammad Rizwan makes hilarious statement after yet another loss –

Just moments after losing the 4th T20I to New Zealand, Mohammad Rizwan was in the news. The wicketkeeper batter made yet another ridiculous statement that has left the fans in a state of shock.

Rizwan while speaking to the presenters saidMere mind mein mera 100 karna nahin tha. Mujhey Iftikhar ne btaya tha ke yeh pitch 150 wala hay, yahan barra score nahin banega team se. Baaki izzat aur zillat Allah SWT ke hath mein hay”

Meanwhile, Pakistan skipper Shaheen Afridi said “I think the way Rizwan gave us the start, it was very good. Unfortunately, we couldn’t grab the opportunity in the middle overs,” Pakistan could not get the other batters to support Mohammad Rizwan during the game on Friday.

Babar Azam was demoted to number three in the batting order just before the series. Young Saim Ayub was given the chance to open and the left-handed batter hasn’t been able to impress till now.

Speaking about this Mohammad Rizwan said “As I had discussed before, the captain and the management discussed with us earlier. Babar bhai has a big heart and we both agreed that there is no issue (in breaking the opening pair). The Pakistani fans see that something was going really well (Rizwan and Babar’s opening partnership) but our management is seeing”

The 31-year-old also said “If you look at Shaheen Afridi or Mohammad Hafeez’s talks, they never said that we won’t get to open together again. They are just experimenting to get the best combination. The management said that you both (Rizwan and Babar) have already performed so well together so we (Pakistan team management) know you both are here anyway
