India players Shubman Gill and Ishan Kishan had a funny moment while traveling to Mumbai for their next ODI World Cup 2023 match against Sri Lanka. In a video that is going viral, the latter playfully hit Gill’s crotch. An incident like this isn’t surprising for the right-hander anymore. A few months back, former India skipper Virat Kohli did the same during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

Ishan Kishan played in place of Shubman Gill earlier

Notably, the left-hander, Kishan played for the Men In Blue for the first two games of the team against Australia and Afghanistan. Apparently, the 2018 U19 World Cup winner was tested for Dengue ahead of the Australia game. Ahead of the game against Pakistan, the Punjab player recovered from the disease and started playing the game.

He is yet to get a big score in the tournament. It will be interesting to see how he fares against Sri Lanka on November 2 in Sri Lanka. Also, it will be interesting to see if Kishan can play a game or two ahead of the semis. The best chance for this to happen is against the Lankan Lions and the Netherlands.
