‘Ishan bhai kya kar diya aapne’ – Fans react as Ishan Kishan is seen practicing in nets with Pandya brothers ahead of IPL 2024

Ishan Kishan was seen practising in nets with the likes of Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya in Baroda. The WK batter was preparing for Mumbai Indians ahead of the IPL 2024. It is the first news regarding the appearance of the star cricketer after his controversial decision to take a rest from the series against South Africa and make himself unavailable for selection for Tests against England. 

There were doubts regarding the sub of the star batter from the Test series against England. Many reports claimed Kishan to be uninterested in taking part in Tests. Some reports also claimed that the Indian management was not interested and moved on from the Southpaw in Tests. However, Rahul Dravid dismissed all those allegations in a recent interview. 

The Indian Head Coach claimed that the star batter had not made himself available for selection for Tests against England. Amidst the criticism over his move to not take part in the longest format of the game, Kishan was seen practising in the nets ahead of the IPL 2024. It seems like Kishan has his priorities right. Kishan was doing keeping and fielding drills in the viral images. 

Fans angry with Ishan Kishan’s choices

Kishan will be playing for Mumbai Indians in the IPL 2024. Along with Kishan, the Pandya brothers were also seen practising in the nets of Baroda. The Indian batter would be looking forward to being in the scheme of things for India in the T20 WC 2024. For that to happen, Kishan needs to have a sensational season with the bat for the 5-time champions. 

The fans are not happy with the fact that Kishan was practising with the duo of Pandya brothers without making himself available for selection in the Test series against England. The fans are claiming that Kishan is concerned only about the IPL. There has been criticism over the choice of the star batter. The opener of MI would be looking forward to helping MI to win their record 6th title in the IPL.
