Now, the internet is buzzing with posts about the film and the actor. Leo has become the talk of the town as the fans are taken aback by the social media report of the film being a copy.

Yes, you have read that right! As per a social media report, the most anticipated pan-Indian film Leo might be inspired by a very popular Hollywood movie. A popular trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan took it to his official social media handle to drop the news with the fans of Leo. He revealed how the official synopsis of the film Leo highly resembles to the 2005 Hollywood film The History of Violence.

Thalapathy Vijay’s Leo is copied?:

The synopsis of The History of Violence reads, “A mild-mannered man who becomes a local hero through an act of violence, which sets off repercussions that will shake his family to its very core,” Meanwhile, Vijay’s film Leo’s official synopsis is, “A mild-mannered café owner becomes a local hero through an act of violence, which sets off repercussions with connections to an old life he left behind, shaking his newly constructed life to its very core.”

Reading this, internet users have gone into a frenzy and tweeted their opinions. While some fans of the actor are supporting the film, there are ones who are clearly not happy with this development. Check out the fan’s reaction below.

Leo is directed by the ace filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj. The movie will also mark the entry of Thalapathy Vijay in LCU (Lokesh Cinematic Universe). Moreover, Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt will be seen in the film Leo playing the role of a villain. Leo is slated to hit the theatres worldwide on October 19, 2023. Not long ago fans were heartbroken after the audio launch event of the film was cancelled and no further date of the event has been out yet.
