The first quarter of 2024 is jam-packed as reports of Taapsee Pannu getting married in March are now surfacing. Before this, fans saw Preet Singh and Jackky Bhagnani tie the knot, while Pulkit Samrat and Kriti Kharbanda are set to do the same soon.

As reported by NDTV, the actress is set to marry her long-time boyfriend Mathias Boe. The couple has been in a relationship for almost a decade. They usually keep their relationship low-profile. However, it is not something of a big secret both of them acknowledge when asked.

Who is Mathias Boe?

Mathias Boe is a professional badminton player born in Denmark and has secured some notable achievements. These include a gold medal at the 2015 European Games, a silver medallist at the 2012 Summer Olympics and much more. He is currently the coach of the Indian badminton team.

The news about marriage comes as a huge development. While there is no set date, it is believed to be sometime by the end of March in Udaipur, Rajasthan with close family members. Currently, the official confirmation is yet to come from the couple.

Taapsee met Mathias during her debut film ‘Chashme Baddoor’ in 2013 and has been together since. The actress also shared her thoughts on her dream wedding last year, and it was surprisingly regular.

Despite achieving so much fame, her thoughts on weddings are quite simple. “It needs to be basic and drama-free because there is enough drama in my professional life, and I don’t want it to trickle down into my personal life,” she said in an interview. As for the wedding look, it also needs to be simple and original. Taapsee does not want any extravagant look or excessive makeup that hides the real her.
