IPL 2024: Five uncapped Indian players who could trigger bidding war during IPL Mini Auctions
In just under 24 hours, ten teams will assemble in Dubai to sit across the table to bid for their favourite players. 333 players have made the final list for the IPL Mini Auctions 2024 on Tuesday afternoon.
Travis Head, Mitchell Starc, and Pat Cummins are set to headline the event. Mitchell Starc in particular is set to play in the league after 8 long years. Australian opener Travis Head is also set to get a sizeable bid considering his tall run–scoring form in recent times.
The focus though is set to be on the Indian talents who are up for grabs for the coming season. In this article, we take a closer look at the five uncapped Indian players who could trigger a bidding war during the IPL Auctions.
5. Kartik Tyagi
India’s best right-arm pace hope is Kartik Tyagi who last played for the Sunrisers Hyderabad. The 23-year-old is a smart operator with the new ball and is deadly accurate towards the backend of the innings. IPL Mini Auction 2024 could see Kartik Tyagi trigger an all-out war to acquire his services for the coming season.
4. Shah Rukh Khan
The burly big-hitting talent from Tamil Nadu is set to be a huge topic of interest on Tuesday. Shah Rukh Khan spent a few years with Punjab Kings before being released just a few weeks ago. Teams present in the IPL Mini Auction 2024 are set to make fervent bids to sign the talented uncapped Indian batter.
3. Hrithik Shokeen
The youngster from New Delhi played two seasons for the Mumbai Indians. The 23-year-old uncapped Indian all-rounder has played 13 matches in the IPL and given a decent account for himself. There are quite a few teams who will want to have a talented Indian player in their squad for the coming season.
2. Aman Khan
Mumbai’s upcoming talent Aman Khan was associated with Delhi Capitals during the IPL 2023 season. Known for his medium-pace bowling and big-hitting skills Aman Khan is likely to be sought after uncapped Indian talent during the IPL Mini Auctions 2024.
1. Kamlesh Nagarkoti
One of India’s best young talents whose career has been blighted by injury issues. Kamlesh Nagarkoti is yet to receive an India cap and at 24 years old his journey is set to begin. After being released by Delhi Capitals last season, the Rajasthan-based uncapped Indian pacer could become a target of huge bids on Tuesday.
