The 2-match Test series between India and West Indies concluded on July 25 after the 2nd Test ended up in a tie with India winning the series 1-0. The action will now move towards the white-ball format where both the teams will clash against each other in the 3-match ODI series starting on July 27.

Former India captain Virat Kohli will be the player to watch for in the ODI series as his form will be very crucial for the Indian team in the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023. 1. 111* at Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica in 2017

Kohli produced a magnificent batting display in the 5th ODI of India’s tour of the West Indies in 2017. India were given a target of 205 runs at Sabina Park in Kingston. The Men in Blue lost their first wicket on just 5 runs, however, Kohli, who came to bat at no. 3, took the responsibility on his shoulder and played an unbeaten knock of 111 runs, which included 12 fours and two sixes.

2. 157* at Dr Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam in 2018

India and West Indies clashed against each other in the 2nd ODI during the West Indies tour of India in 2018. The contest took place in Visakhapatnam, where Kohli once again showed why he is called the master of the game in the ODI format. The right-hander batter played an unbeaten knock of 157 runs, which included 13 fours and four sixes and helped the team achieve a monumental total of 321 runs.

3. 120 at Queen’s Park Oval, Port of Spain, Trinidad in 2019

Kohli showed his brilliance against West Indies in the 2nd ODI match at Queen’s Park Oval in Port of Spain in 2019. He played a breathtaking 120-run knock off 125 deliveries, which included 14 fours and one six. Kohli’s knock was very special as no other batter except Kohli and Shreyas Iyer (71 off 38) were able to contribute anything to the scoreboard.
