India left the World Cup with a huge win as Rohit and Rahul hit half centuries to chase down a small total.

Earlier, India restricted Namibia to just 132 after electing to bowl first.

India came back in this tournament very aggressively, but it was too late to qualify for the semi-finals.

This was the last game for Virat Kohli as a captain in T20 Internationals and now most probably Rohit Sharma will become the new Captain of this side.

Namibia’s innings

Namibia started well in the first 3 overs but after the fall of 1st wicket, Namibia never looked comfortable and the wickets keep falling.

Indian bowlers bowled great lines and lengths, and they didn’t give any opportunity to the Namibian batters to free their arms.

David Weise scored 26 runs and he was the top scorer in the Namibian innings.

He was dismissed by Bumrah in the 2nd last over.

Trumpelmann smashed a four and a six in the last over of the innings to push the score over 130 runs and give their bowlers something to defend.

Ashwin-Jadeja combination

The Indian Test bowling duo starred against Namibia and bowled brilliantly to restrict the opposition on a low total.

Both Ashwin and Jadeja picked up 3 wickets each.

The Namibian batters struggled against both these spinners and they were not able to score runs freely against them.

Ashwin conceded just 20 runs to pick up his 3 wickets in 4 overs while Jadeja was rewarded his second Player of the match award in a row for his brilliant bowling figures of 4-16 in 4 overs.

These two are the most experienced spinners in Indian cricket right now and they are performing well for their side.

This was a great comeback from Ashwin in T20 cricket, and he has proved himself that he is still a very lethal white ball bowler.

Rohit-Rahul stand

Rohit and Rahul again played beautifully and they put a 3rd consecutive 50 runs stand.

Both of them scored half centuries. I

ndia scored 54 runs in the Powerplay without losing a wicket.

Rohit was dismissed in the 10th over after making 56 runs off just 37 balls including 7 fours and 2 sixes.

India scored 87 runs in the first 10 overs.

Rahul on the other hand scored his 3rd consecutive half century in the tournament.

Suryakumar Yadav came to bat at no 3 instead of Virat and he scored 25 runs off 19 balls.

India chased down the total in 15. 2 overs with the loss of just 1 wicket, and they ended up their world cup campaign in style.
