The ICC T20 World Cup 2022 will kickstart on October 16th, 2022

India will play their opening game against Pakistan on October 23. The venue of the ICC tournament is Australia.

India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, South Africa, England, Australia, Bangladesh, and New Zealand are already qualified for the super 12 round of T20 World Cup 2022.

Defending Champions Australia top favorites

Australia is the defending champions of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2022. Last year, they defeated New Zealand in the final to win their first-ever T20 World Cup title

England, Afghanistan, New Zealand, and Australia are part of group 1. India, Pakistan, South Africa, and Bangladesh are part of group 2. Two more teams will join each group after the qualifier round
