Shah Rukh Khan’s next movie, Dunki was rumored to be postponed to avoid clashes with the Prabhas’s next Salaar. However, after days of rumors, popular film critic, Taran Adarsh has confirmed that Dunki will release on 22 December 2023. Apparently, on the same date, Prabhas’ Salaar will also be released. Notably, this film was slated to be released on 29th Dec.

King Khan, during an event, mentioned the release date of his upcoming film will not change.

“God has been very kind we have had Pathaan. God has been even kinder with Jawan and I always say this. We started on January 26, Republic Day (with Pathaan), it’s a good auspicious day. On Janmashtami, on Krishnajis birthday we released this film (Jawan). Now New Year and Christmas are around the corner, we will release Dunki. I keep National integration.”

Talking about the film, it is the maiden collaboration of SRK and renowned director Rajkumar Hirani (3 Idiots, PK Fame). The film will also star Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal. On the other hand, Prabhas’ Salaar could be a make-or-break film for his career. After Bahubali, he is yet to deliver a superhit film. Not to forget, his last release, Adipurush was not just a controversial film but also a disaster.

Talking about the star cast of Salaar includes Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran in lead roles.
