Highest-grossing Bollywood films with adult certification

Oh My God 2 (OMG 2) continues to do well at the domestic box office, collecting 135.9 crore nett so far, according to Sacnilk.com. Adult certification does not appear to be a barrier for OMG 2. OMG 2 has surpassed the previous record set by the third-highest-grossing Bollywood film with an adult rating, according to box office data. The 2019 film Kabir Singh is Bollywood’s highest-grossing adult film.

According to the most recent data, OMG 2 is now Bollywood’s fourth-highest-grossing Adult movie. The movie has outperformed Riteish Deshmukh’s “Grand Masti,” earning Rs 135 crore in 17 days at the box office.

1. Kabir Singh 278.24cr:

The portal reports that Kabir Singh has earned 278.2 crore nett in India during the course of his career. In the movie, Shahid Kapoor appeared with Kiara Advani. The Telugu hit Arjun Reddy, which was also directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and starred Vijay Deverakonda in the lead role, was remade as Kabir Singh.

2. The Kashmir Files 252.90cr

The Kashmir Files, which was released last year, is Bollywood’s second-highest-grossing adult film behind Kabir Singh. The Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, and Pallavi Joshi-starrer, which was directed by Vivek Agnihotri, reportedly made 252.5 crore rupees net in India.

The Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration at the 69th National Film Awards was recently presented to The Kashmir Files. Although the movie was a commercial success, several people criticised it for supposedly inflaming racial tensions.

The Kerala Story, another successful adult Hindi film that earned more than 238 crore nett in India, drew criticism for maintaining unfavourable perceptions of Muslims. After the filmmakers initially tried to present the movie as based on a true story of three women from the southern state who were allegedly lured into converting to Islam and trafficked into joining the terrorist organisation ISIS, Kerala’s chief minister, Pinarayi Vijayan, had also called the story “fake.”

4. OMG 2 135.92cr

The movie OMG 2 is a sequel to the 2012 movie OMG – Oh My God, which starred Paresh Rawal and Akshay Kumar. Pankaj Tripathi plays Kanti Sharan Mudgal, a devotee of Shiva who sues the educational system for misleading his child, in Amit Rai’s OMG 2.

In the movie, Akshay plays Lord Shiva’s messenger, and Yami Gautam plays a lawyer. The movie also stars Arun Govil, Aamir Naik, Fahim Fazli, Vedika Nawani, and Parth Siddhpura, among others.
