Hema Malini opens up on Dharmendra’s kissing scene with Shabana Azmi in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has been doing well at the box office. The Karan Johar directorial family drama is being loved by the fans and also received a positive response. The chemistry between Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt impressed a lot of fans as both were brilliant with their characters.

Meanwhile, Bollywood legendary actor Hema Malini who is also the second wife of Dharmendra recently reacted to his husband’s kissing scene with Shabana Azmi in the movie. Many fans loved the chemistry between the two veteran actors. Malini also said that she is so happy for Dharmendra and also mentioned that he loves to be in front of the camera.

“I am sure people have loved the film. I am so happy for Dharam ji, because he loves to be in front of the camera all the time. He loves it.” Malini was quoted as saying by Bollywoodlife.

I believe there is no age for romance: Dharmendra

Dharmendra also reacted to his kissing scene recently and gave a hilarious reaction by saying “Bohot maza aaya”. He also talked about his experience of working in the movie and said that he enjoyed working with the team very much. He also said that when Johar narrated the kissing scene to them, he did not get excited as he believes that whatever the film requires, should be done at any cost.

“Captain accha ho to team khub kheti hai (If the captain is good, the team is bound to play well). When I heard the story, I felt this is something new. I enjoyed every bit of working with this unit. Now, the ‘charcha’ is not just in the city but all over the world about Rocky and Rani (hinting about the sequence).” Dharmendra was quoted as saying by India Today.

“When Karan narrated the scene to us, I did not get excited (laughs). We understood it and I realised that it was something that the film required and wasn’t forcefully put in and I said I will do it. Also, I believe there is no age for romance. Age is just a number and two people irrespective of age will show their love for each other by kissing. Shabana and I both did not feel any kind of awkwardness while doing it as it was very aesthetically shot.” he added.
