‘He knows the ball’ – Fans divided after Rafael Nadal reveals who is better between Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo

For their respective countries and clubs, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi, two of the greatest football icons, have made numerous game-winning exploits. However, the debate over who is superior between the Argentine superstar and the Portuguese phenomenon has always remained a question for football fans over the past ten years and will continue to do so in the future. 

Club and country appearances can alter opinions, and personalities can affect how well a player is viewed, with most people having a clear idea of who they would choose. Meanwhile, Rafael Nadal, a legendary tennis player, has stated which of the two greats he believes to be the superior player. While on vacation, Nadal took some time to pose for photos with his followers. 

During this, he was asked by one of the fans, “Messi or Ronaldo”. To which Nadal replied, “Messi is better but I’m Madrid (Real Madrid) fan”. The video of the same is getting viral on social media and many fans have also shared their thoughts on the same. However, many of Ronaldo’s fans were also triggered by Nadal’s statement.

Messi’s brilliant debut for Inter Miami

In the past, Messi and Ronaldo have engaged in numerous clashes in Europe. And now, Messi and Ronaldo have spread their abilities across the world, with Messi currently playing in Major League Soccer in the United States and Ronaldo currently competing in the Saudi Pro League in Saudi Arabia.

Ronaldo made his debut for Al-Nassr earlier this year in January while Messi recently played his first match for Inter Miami on July 22. Messi entered the ground as a substitute and scored a match-winning goal in the 94th minute of the match with a brilliant free-kick. After conquering Europe, both legends moved to play in different leagues in the world. It’d be interesting to see how the presence of these legends will help the league to grow.
