‘Have u taken his permission to disclose this in public?’ – Fans react as former India cricketer reveals MS Dhoni wanted to leave Ranchi
Former India skipper MS Dhoni is one of the most successful cricketers in terms of achievements and monetarily too. Talking about his cricketing achievements, he has won three World titles for India. Apart from this, Dhoni has won five IPL titles and won two Champions League T20 trophies. Talking about his net worth, it is estimated at 1040 crores INR.
One of the notable parts of his personal life is the collection of motorcycles. Those collections were also showcased in his biopic. Meanwhile, former India opening batter, Wasim Jaffer has revealed a secret regarding MS. The former conducted a Q&A session on Twitter for his fans.
Jaffer revealed that during the early days of Dhoni in the team, the latter used to sit with him and Dinesh Karthik. The former India opener said Dhoni spoke to his wife about wanting to earn 30 lakhs as the latter wanted to leave Ranchi.
“I remember he said that to my wife: ‘Bhabhi, mujhe Rs 30 lakh banane hain. Agar maine Rs 30 lakh bana liye, toh I know I can leave very peacefully,” Jaffer told exclusively to SportsKeeda.
Jaffer also revealed that Dhoni used to say that “‘Kuchh bhi ho jae, main Ranchi nahi chhodunga. (Come what may, I won’t leave Ranchi)”. Jaffer appreciated the grounded nature of Dhoni, who had “small aims and small goals”.
MS Dhoni turns 42
Meanwhile, the three-time World Champion has turned 42 years old. Born on July 7, 1981, he started playing the game at a young age. However, before playing cricket, he was a goalkeeper in football. However, his school coach turned him into a wicketkeeper batter.
In the early 2000s, he missed out on the selection in the India U19 team. Eventually, he made into the Indian team after giving up the secured central government job in the Indian Railways. He worked as the ticket collector before taking a risk and making it in the team.

Have u taken his permission to disclose this in public? This is breach of trust between 2 of you you. You can disclose as many secrets of yours but who has given you right to do that for others.
And that too at a time when this could lead to a controversy.— Mohammad Shahnawaz (@Mohammad197556) March 29, 2020
His firm, Rhiti sports, which is run by his friend, Arun Pandey, has extremly sordid reputation when it comes to paying the vendors. But then, you can be a great cricketer, and a small human beings. Entirely possible
