The first test of the 3-match Test series between Australia and Pakistan is being played at the Perth Stadium in Perth. Australian captain Pat Cummins won the toss and opted to bat first and the decision proved right as the Kangaroos scored 487 runs in the first innings with the help of a brilliant inning of 164 runs from David Warner who is playing his farewell Test series.

Pakistani bowlers were clueless throughout the innings, however, there was one bowler Aamer Jamal, who was making his Test debut, who impressed a lot of fans and former cricketers with his brilliant bowling display. Jamal picked up a fifer in his debut Test match and became the 14th Pakistani player to achieve this feat. Fans reacted and congratulated Jamal for achieving the wonderful milestone.

Before Jamal, Arif Butt, Mohammad Nazir, Shahid Nazir, Mohammad Zahid, Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Sami, Shabbir Ahmed, Yasir Arafat, Wahab Riaz, Tanvir Ahmed, Bilal Asif, Nauman Ali and Abrar Ahmed had also taken a fifer on their Test debuts.
