Govinda Naam mera will be premiering on Disney+ Hotstar.

The OTT platform revealed the official release date of his next movie, “Govinda Naam Mera,” on Friday, just over a week after announcing his intention to release it on OTT rather than in theaters.

“Govinda ki kahaani, nahi hai yeh aam kahaani. #GovindaNaamMera streaming from 16th Dec.” read the caption.

The film’s leading ladies Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar also took to their handles to spread the word. “Ayeee, Gauri aa rahi hai. Taiyaar ho ki nahi?” Bhoomi captioned her poster.

Kiara on the other hand, shared her character’s fashionable poster and wrote, “Come and say hi huku with Suku!”

Consequently, for giving some hints to the audience on what to anticipate from the movie, the makers dropped some new posters with a caption that read, “Murder, mystery, madness & masala – ALL coming to your home screens!🍿 #GovindaNaamMera streaming from 16th Dec, only on Disney+ Hotstar!”

Actress Kiara Advani calls her upcoming film, “Govinda Naam Mera,” a “unique film,” and she is excited to be working on it. “Govinda Naam Mera is a unique film. It is quite trippy, in fact I still have to figure out the name of the genre because it is absolutely different. I was thrilled to be a part of that world. We have tried something new with the film. I hope people find it as interesting as we did,” Kiara told PTI.

The story of an underdog and the craziness that surrounds his family is told in the upcoming comedy crime thriller.
