Game Changer Box Office Day 2: Big Drop for Ram Charan Film
Ram Charan’s latest film, Game Changer, witnessed a sharp decline in box office collections on its second day. After a strong opening day, the film’s earnings dropped by 57.84% on Saturday, impacting its momentum.
On its release day, Game Changer grossed an impressive ₹51 crore across all languages. However, on Day 2, it managed only ₹21.5 crore, bringing the film’s total India gross to ₹72.5 crore. The Telugu version contributed significantly to the collections, earning ₹53.95 crore over two days. Meanwhile, the Hindi version added ₹14.5 crore, while the Tamil version grossed ₹3.82 crore. The Malayalam and Kannada versions collected ₹0.03 crore and ₹0.02 crore, respectively.
Occupancy rates also took a hit, with the Telugu version recording 31.19% occupancy on Saturday and the Hindi version registering 21.82%. Directed by Shankar, Game Changer features Ram Charan in dual roles, alongside Kiara Advani, Anjali, and SJ Suryah.
Despite the hype surrounding the film, mixed reviews may have contributed to the decline in collections. While Ram Charan’s performance received praise, critics pointed out some outdated storytelling elements. The film’s competition with other Sankranthi releases further challenges its box office performance.
