Frank Lampard’s miserable stint ends, gets sacked by Everton

Everton Football Club has been facing a difficult season, with the team currently sitting in the bottom three of the Premier League and fans growing increasingly frustrated with the direction of the club.

The situation came to a head recently when the team suffered a 2-0 defeat at the hands of fellow relegation strugglers West Ham, leading to the sacking of manager Frank Lampard.

Despite facing the possibility of losing his job, Lampard remained determined and dedicated to his role as manager. Speaking after the defeat at West Ham, Lampard stated: “I absolutely don’t fear, I’m proud to do the job. I never get that far down the line to fear, I just do my job, I get up every day and think how we can get a little bit better, it’s as simple as that.”

Potential Replacements

With Lampard now out of the picture, the question now turns to who will be appointed as the next manager of Everton.

One name that has been mentioned as a potential replacement is Marcelo Bielsa, the former manager of Leeds United who has been out of work since February of last year.

Moshiri is believed to have already spoken with Bielsa about the possibility of taking on the role, but it remains to be seen whether he will be interested or if he has the backing of other directors within the club.

Other names that have been mentioned as potential replacements include Sean Dyche, the former manager of Burnley, and Carlos Corberán, the current head coach of West Bromwich Albion.

The Future for Everton

The future for Everton FC looks uncertain at the moment, with the team currently in a precarious position in the league and the club facing a number of off-field issues.

A new stadium costing at least £550m is under construction at Bramley-Moore Dock.

The club’s last three available set of accounts show combined losses of £372.6m and lucrative commercial ties were cut with companies owned by the oligarch Alisher Usmanov after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

However, the appointment of a new manager could provide a fresh start and a new direction for the team.
